Butkevich M.V. Analysis of the processes of glass production
The task of this work is to study the efficiency of heat utilization of poured flat glass. In this paper, based on the literature review, the existing technologies of glass cooking in glass furnaces and existing methods of glass forming, as well as their heat and energy characteristics, were considered. The balance values of energy consumption and removal during glass cooking and molding were formed. As a result, a direction was found for using the heat of liquid sheet glass to generate electricity.
