Ryazapov V.M. Analysis of natural gas consumption and heat use in methodical furnaces of rolling production

Study of the energy efficiency of the production of electricity and heat for the production of steel. At present energy costs in the metallurgical industry of Russia is much higher than the power consumption of the leading manufactur-ers of metal. The considerable energy intensity of production, worn-out technological and energy equipment of companies, longterm supply of natural gas and electricity dictate the need for change in the structure and production technology and maximum reduction of energy consumption. The aim of this work is the generation of electricity and heat for rolling steel production. By finding new sources of energy with a possible reduction of energy consumption of the enterprise.
