Baskakova A.A. The main task of energy saving for reactors with molten materials

Consistent thermodynamic optimization of the interaction of natural gas with liquid slag-metal melt allows to create a certain layer of garnissage, which simultaneously acts as a reactor heat insulator, supporting structure and protects the fence from the chemical activity of the slag-metal melt. It is also necessary to link the thermal balance of the scheme with the use of slag energy, which ultimately will help to reduce the consumption of primary natural gas by an amount equal to the amount of energy required to provide energy for the process of liquid-phase reduction of iron from ores.
