The study of existing cooling systems of blast furnaces of metallurgical production. The analysis of efficiency and prospects of application of various types and methods of elements of system of cooling, including pig-iron, copper refrigerators, working conditions of refrigerators in case of evaporative cooling is carried out. Graphs of heat flows through the enclosure and heating temperatures of cooling water depending on the structural material of the refrigerator and the speed of the coolant are given.
