This paper presents the results of studies using heat of liquid steel, which is lost in the crystallization of the latter after the release of the electric arc furnace to generate electricity. Simultaneously, we study the optimal proportion of liquid pig iron in the starting material of steel production with a view to the creation of electric arc process without external electric power consumption.
