Bikmuhametova K.M. Natural gas as a source of energy saving for the development of heat engineering of ferrous metallurgy

In this paper, the task was set to consider the possibility of using natural gas as the basis for improving the energy efficiency of metallurgical production. At the same time, an analysis was made of the possibility of alternative use of coal as an energy source. As a result of the step-by-step thermodynamic analysis, the advantage of the soot-hydrogen mixture, the thermal conversion of natural gas, has been proven over coal of any composition 1,7-2 times. This circumstance creates the basis for the development and creation of more efficient production from an energy point of view.
